Google has announced that page experience signals will be included in Google Search ranking. Today, Google announced that the new page experience signals will roll out in May 2021. These signals combine Core Web Vitals with other existing search signals, including mobile-friendliness, HTTPS-security, and intrusive interstitial guidelines. This change will also make non-AMP content eligible to appear in the mobile Top Stories feature in Search. Any page that meets Google's News content policies will be eligible, and pages with great page experience will be prioritized in the search results. In addition to these updates, Google plans to test a visual indicator that highlights pages with great page experience in the search results.
